As part of efforts to profile Malaysia’s progress in green finance CMM has commissioned the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) to publish a report entitled the Green Infrastructure Investment Opportunities for Malaysia. The GIIO report aims to highlight green investment opportunities in Malaysia and to support the country’s transition to a low carbon economy. 
 
The report will showcase the investible green projects in Malaysia, it will also highlight the role that green sukuk issuances have played in advancing green financing and encourage investments in green/sustainable projects which require funding.

Theme: Setting the road ahead towards economic recovery
KLIFF has been held annually since the year 2004. Today, KLIFF2021 is the premier event on Islamic Banking and Finance that is regarded as one of the most exciting and enlightening Islamic finance events in the Asia-pacific region. KLIFF2021 aims to bring onboard diverse industry experts and players, including regulators, Shariah scholars, bankers, legal practitioners, Takaful operators, consultants and academicians to share with the delegates their views and opinions on the Islamic Banking and Finance industry. This year we took the challenge of producing a virtual forum which is expecting more than 500 delegates from all over the world to join KLIFF2021. His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah will officiate the event.
